We use a powdered putty compound to fill up cracks and holes.
This ensures a faster drying of the compound to be ready for painting faster.
No – wall paint is intended for wall and does not latch on to well to your door frame.
Water based paints can end up damaging your door frames and doors instead – always use Nippon Bordelac varnish paint.
We typically use Nippon Bordelac paint for pipes as it gives your pipes a gloss finish that is also thick enough to protect the pipe from water.
Gloss, varnish paint is also easier for the paint to latch on to the pipe’s material.
Outdoor paint has different properties that are more durable, such as being waterproof and thicker.
Of course, this also means that it is more expensive, so only use outdoor paints for outdoor areas such as balconies, exterior walls and roofs.
Generally, sealers or primers are only used in 2 scenarios:
– You have a brand new plastered wall
– You have a very dark coloured wall to change to light color
If your wall is already painted, you don’t really need a sealer base before painting as 2 coats of paint will be sufficient for you.
